Grand Clos, a farm built on the Cotentin coastal marshlands, is having to contend with the consequences of climate change. Despite the conversion to organic farming more than 25 years ago which offers greater resilience to climate variations, the risk of coastal flooding is a reality in this former marshland. It is now necessary to anticipate tomorrow’s problems to enable humans to adapt thanks to sustainable solutions which respect the environment. Will we have to rethink the way we farm in order to overcome the changes ahead?
